Jewellery Care
Your jewellery is precious.
We believe that if you care for your jewellery it should last longer than a single lifetime, and caring for it properly is the best way to ensure that generations to come will get to wear and love it too.
How to best care for your jewellery
-
Clean your jewellery at home with warm, soapy water and a very soft toothbrush and a dash of fairy liquid. Dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
-
Keep your jewels separate from rubbing against each other. Wrapping them in tissue or cloth when travelling, or stored in separate compartments of a jewellery box.
-
Avoid wearing your pearls when engaging in strenuous activities or household chores, any task that might knock or rub them.
-
Always put on your jewellery after applying makeup, moisturiser, perfume and hairspray, especially your pearls. Your jewellery should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.

Wear Your Pearls with Care
-
Don’t layer pearls with other necklaces and bracelets – the constant friction between them will scratch the pearls.
-
Avoid exposing your pearls to harsh chemicals, including household cleaners and chlorine.
-
To keep them clean, wipe your pearls with a soft, damp cloth after wearing to remove any sweat or oils.
-
To prevent scratches, store your pearls separately from other pieces of jewellery.Place them in a soft pouch or a lined jewellery box, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
-
Pearls thrive when they’re worn. The natural oils from your skin keep them lustrous.
-
Check the string of your pearl necklace or bracelet regularly for signs of wear and tear.
